Launch of Global Net Zero Standard

The SBTi will host a virtual event in two time zones to launch the world’s first Net-Zero Standard.

On October 28th, the Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is launching the first science-based framework for companies to set net-zero targets – the Net-Zero Standard. The Standard will clarify the key role of decarbonization in corporate net-zero strategies.
This interesting virtual event will present the Standard and examine how corporations may set robust net-zero targets in line with climate science, with viewpoints from industry, science, and civil society. The Net-Zero Standard Launch will highlight the SBTi Net-Zero Standard, highlight partners and who is driving the charge, and outline how businesses may achieve net-zero success.
