Fire and meltdown of sea ice in the Arctic Region Siberia is getting hotter than most parts of Florida, with a temperature topping 30 deg C. Exceptional and prolonged heat catalyzed the Arctic inferno and is decreasing the extent of sea-ice coverage affecting the ecosystem and local population.
